You can view an overview of all CMIS objects created at any time, as well as the CMIS objects created in the last 30 days (default), in order to, for example, analyze the data volume consumed and the data stock, and, if necessary, forecast growth.
In the edoc CMIS archivelink administration, under Show overview of created CMIS objects, you can view an overview of the CMIS objects that have been created.
On the Overview of created CMIS objects page, you will find both a brief overview of the created CMIS objects by base object type and a detailed tabular overview for each CMIS object, by type definition, for each ECM connection.
The following CMIS objects and CMIS object types are used:
-
Documents (cmis:document): Represents created document objects.
-
Folder (cmis:folder): Represents folder structures in which objects are logically grouped together.
-
Records (cmis:item): Represents general objects without file content or a folder structure.
Things to know
The number of CMIS objects created within the past 30 days shown here is based on the creation date.
These values do not provide information about the last modification or last use of a CMIS object.
Tabular overview with additional details for each CMIS base type
In the Overview of created CMIS objects by type definition table, you can find more detailed information about each CMIS type definition for each ECM connection.
A separate line is created for each object type definition (type definition):
-
ECM connection column: Displays the ECM connection from which the type definition and the counted CMIS objects originate.
-
Type ID column: Displays the technical type ID for the type definition.
-
CMIS base type column: Indicates the CMIS base type (cmis:document, cmis:folder, or cmis:item) and, if applicable, the respective subordinate CMIS types to which the type ID belongs.
-
Type Name column: Displays the human-readable name of the type definition.
-
Total number column: Displays the total number of CMIS objects for the specific type definition in edoc CMIS archivelink.
-
Specified time period column: Displays the number of CMIS objects of the type definition that were created within the defined time period (default: last 30 days).
