Install and uninstall edoc NAV invoice cockpit

  • File edoc invoice cockpit Objects_XX.VVVVV.DDDDDDDD.0.xlsx: Contains the Microsoft Dynamics NAV object overview.

  • File edoc_invoice_cockpit_for_nav_XX.VVVV.DDDDDDDD.0.fob: Contains Microsoft Dynamics NAV objects in FOB format.

  • File edoc_invoice_cockpit_for_nav_XX.VVVV.DDDDDDDD.0.txt: Contains Microsoft Dynamics NAV objects in TXT format.

  • Edoc d.3one Browser directory: Contains additional DLL and XML files that are required to run the edoc ECM Web Integration feature.

The placeholders in the file names mean the following:

  • Placeholder "XX" stands for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV version, e.g. 10.

  • Placeholder "VVVV" stands for the edoc NAV invoice cockpit version, e.g. version number 2010

  • Placeholder "DDDDDDDD" stands for the release date, e.g. 20230516.

How to install edoc NAV invoice cockpit

  1. Copy the edoc d.3one Browser directory and its contents to <drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\XXX\Service\Add-ins. The placeholder "XXX" represents the Microsoft Dynamics NAV version, e.g. 100.

  2. Only if you want to use the ECM Web Integration: Create a record in Microsoft Dynamics NAV under Departments > Administration > IT Administration > General > Control Add-ins to register the edoc ECM Web Integration add-in.

    1. Enter the specified data in the following columns and do not enter anything in the Version column:

      1. Add-in name: Edoc.Nav.WebBrowser

      2. Token for public key: 4b2f407030decb3a

      3. Category (available from version 2016): Add-in for DotNet controls

      4. Description: Edoc.Nav.WebBrowser

      5. Resource: No

  3. Import the Microsoft Dynamics NAV objects in FOB format into Dynamics NAV. Merge the default objects if necessary.

You have completed the installation of edoc invoice cockpit.

How to uninstall edoc NAV invoice cockpit

  1. Only delete the edoc invoice cockpit objects from Microsoft Dynamics NAV. If you have made changes in default objects for edoc NAV invoice cockpit, you must deactivate the edoc customizations manually.

  2. Only if you have used the ECM Web Integration: Delete the record for the edoc ECM Web Integration add-in in Microsoft Dynamics NAV under Departments > Administration > IT administration > General > Control Add-ins.
