How do I copy the edoc NAV plugin ecm setup to another company?

If you work with several companies (clients) in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, you can copy a complete edoc NAV plugin ecm setup of an existing company and use it for another company.

Before you start

You will need a password to copy the configuration of the edoc NAV plugin ecm setup. Please contact edoc solutions ag in advance for further details.

Here's how

  1. Navigate to edoc plugin ecm - configuration and click on Copy setup to other company to start the copying process.

  2. Enter the following data in the Edit - copy setup dialog:

    1. Destination company: Select the company to which you want to copy the setup.

    2. Destination company code: Optionally enter a value for the destination company. The value is used in the Return company function. You can also leave this field empty if you are not using the Return company function.

    3. Password: Enter the password provided by edoc solutions ag.

  3. Then click on OK.
