With this release, we have updated the MongoDB database for edoc workplace to a newer version, improved error handling, and added an additional Redirect option to the workflow\Delegate action.
We have also fixed a few bugs.
New functions and enhancements
ID 12165: Improve the handling of critical errors in the edoc automate runtime component
When critical errors occur in an app, users of the app will now receive an error message with a trace ID.
App developers who are logged in to the edoc automate editor will continue to receive a detailed error message.
ID 19702: Extend the "workflow\Delegate" action to include the additional "Redirect" option "workplace"
For the workflow\Delegate action, you can also select workplace as the Redirect option, which will always redirect users back to edoc workplace.
ID 20064: Update the MySQL database to version 8.0
The MySQL database used in edoc workplace has been updated from version 5.7 to version 8.0. Thus, you now benefit from a modern, more powerful, and more secure database platform.
Bug fixes and improvements
Normal ID 19866: The context menu for pasting copied components opens too far down
The context menu for pasting a copied component at the bottom edge of a view is now displayed without any spacing from the edge of the view.
Normal ID 19890: Task notifications are being sent even though the setting has been disabled
Notifications for tasks in edoc workplace are now handled by default according to the settings specified in the user's notification settings.
