We have implemented two improvements in this release:
The version information has been revised and expanded so that you can access the release notes and software manuals directly and online. User roles are now available for you to better control access to functions in edoc plugin ecm.
The following Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations versions are supported with this release:

ID 12955: Optimize version information and release notes and implement links to the software manuals
Under edoc plugin ecm > Requests > Version you will now find version information and links to the release notes and software manuals in the edoc Docs Center.
ID 12714: Extend user roles for edoc plugin ecm
You can now grant permissions based on roles.
A role concept has been implemented for granting permissions in edoc plugin ecm in order to restrict employees' access to edoc plugin ecm. Two permission roles are available to administrators for assigning employees: administrator and user.
