edoc invoice cockpit Build 26.10.7

With this release, we have implemented several enhancements and improvements to the invoice cockpit. These include, for example, the automatic posting of invoices via an API function, improved error handling with clear error messages, and the option to display the invoice cockpit in the SAP design with the default filtering functions for the tabular overview.

Two bugs have also been fixed.

New functions and enhancements

ID 20314: Automatically post invoices in the ERP system

You can now configure the automatic_posting field for connections to a destination system so that invoices are automatically posted in the destination system after they have been successfully created.

ID 20439: Display data in the edoc invoice cockpit using the SAP design

Administrators of edoc invoice cockpit can provide their users with the invoice cockpit in the look&feel of SAP Cloud ERP. The invoice cockpit includes the default SAP functions for filtering the table.

ID 20506: Display error messages in the invoice cockpit

The most recent error message that appeared on an invoice is now saved and displayed in the invoice cockpit. If a previously erroneous invoice is successfully posted or deactivated, the error message is automatically reset.

ID 20507: Display error messages in the tabular overview

The invoice cockpit now includes a new field that displays the current error message associated with an invoice.

ID 20518: Improve error handling and make error messages more understandable for integrations with the SAP destination system

The handling of errors related to SAP destination systems has been improved. In addition, error messages are now described more clearly and displayed in the users' language.

Bug fixes and improvements

High ID 20576: Cookies are getting bigger and bigger and causing errors

The authentication cookies for edoc invoice cockpit have been optimized. This optimization minimizes the risk that excessively large browser cookies will interfere with logging in to other edoc products and that requests will be rejected by the server due to an excessively large cookie size.

Normal ID 20549: Confusing messages when the result is successful or unsuccessful

Error handling has been improved so that more precise and user-friendly error messages are now displayed. In addition, the dialog box for longer messages has been optimized.

Normal ID 20555: Invoice transfer is not reset if the destination system is unreachable

Invoices are now transferred to the invoice cockpit only after they have been successfully processed in the destination system. Errors are handled through an automatic rollback and a restart of the workflow. Processes that cannot be reset are clearly marked as Error.

Normal ID 20288: The "Active" setting is ignored during exports, for destination systems, and in field mappings

The processing now correctly takes into account the activation status of endpoints, destination systems, and field mappings in the configuration. Inactive configurations are no longer used for transfers or field mapping.

Normal ID 20811: Security vulnerability in Brotli (CVE-2026-111497) in edoc invoice cockpit (UI component)

A critical security vulnerability (CVE-2026-111497) in Brotli decompression was fixed through an update to Node.js and the system packages in edoc invoice cockpit.
