How do I use the filters in the invoice cockpit (SAP Cloud ERP only)

If your administration provides you with the invoice cockpit in the SAP design, you can use the default SAP functions to add and remove filters and to filter the table.

By default, you can filter the table in the invoice cockpit by entering a single word in the search field.

You can use the filters to do the following:

  • Show or hide filter options

  • Filter a table by at least one criterion

Show and hide filter options

Especially when dealing with large amounts of data, it's helpful to adjust the filters at the top of the invoice cockpit as needed.

If you don't see the filter options, expand the header section.

Suppose you want to change the filters in the header section.

Here's how

  1. Open the invoice cockpit in SAP design.

  2. Click on Adapt filters in the header section.

  3. In the Filter values and visibility dialog box, click the icon (eye) next to each entry to show or hide the filter.

  4. Confirm the change by clicking OK.

The filters are displayed in the header section based on your selection.

If you'd like to go back to working with all the available filters in the header, click on Reset in the Filter values and visibility dialog box.

Things to know

  • If you have changed the filters displayed in the header section and entered values, this specific view will not be saved when you close the invoice cockpit.

  • If you have already entered values in a filter but then hide the filter, the value will still be used as a filter criterion.

Filter the table based on specific filter criteria

You can enter the appropriate values in the filter options to filter the table according to the specified criteria.

Suppose you want to filter the table by a specific vendor and company code.

Here's how

  1. In the header section, enter the name in the Vendor field and the appropriate company code in the Company code field.

  2. Click on Go.

The table will now be filtered to show only those invoices that match both criteria. You can combine as many criteria as you like in the filters to get the best results.

To display the table without filters, clear all filters in the header area and click on Go. If the result is not satisfactory, check whether the hidden filters already contain values. The values in hidden filters are also applied as filter criteria.
