To save documents (content streams) in edoc CMIS archivelink, you must configure specific properties and categories for the CMIS documents in your ECM system.
You must create the following properties in your ECM repository:
-
Name: CMIS name
Type: Alphanumeric (minimum length of 100 characters) -
Name: CMIS object ID
Type: Alphanumeric (minimum length of 100 characters)
Map the properties to all categories in the ECM repository where CMIS documents are stored.
In addition to the existing categories in the ECM repository, you must set up another category in which all CMIS documents will be stored:
Default category name: CMIS document
Using a reindexing process, you can map the stored CMIS documents to a different ECM category (e.g., purchase order document) later on.
You can also use existing document properties and categories. However, for the sake of transparency, we recommend creating the suggested CMIS properties and CMIS categories.
