Once you have successfully created the CMIS repository and the connection to the ECM system, the properties and categories are displayed by default.
Whenever you change something in the ECM system later on, you must import the categories from your ECM system into edoc CMIS archivelink. Once the ECM categories have been imported, edoc CMIS archivelink can access and process the updated categories.
Here's how

Go to the edoc platform system environment and open the administration of edoc CMIS archivelink in the browser.

Go to Configure repositories > Edit repository.

Click on Update ECM elements.
The ECM categories and CMIS object types are now being imported.
