Export and import a selected edoc invoice cockpit backup

You can export the current edoc invoice cockpit configuration as an XML file at any time. The XML file serves as a kind of backup copy that you can also use for another system or as part of a support case.

To export the configuration

Proceed as follows if you want to export the configuration as an XML file:

  1. In the navigation bar, click on edoc invoice cockpit > Setup > Bases > Parameters > Configuration backups.

  2. Select the configuration backup you want to export from the list.

  3. Click on Export backup in the menu.

The exported XML file is automatically downloaded to the local storage location that you have specified in your browser for downloading files.

To import the configuration

Proceed as follows if you want to import the configuration as an XML file:

  1. In the navigation bar, click on edoc invoice cockpit > Setup > Bases > Parameters > Configuration backups.

  2. Click Import backup in the menu.

  3. Import the locally saved XML file with Import backup.
