Prepare an update of edoc archivelink (checklist)

If you update edoc archivelink to a higher version, there are some tasks that you should perform before and after the update.

In this article you will find tasks that you should perform by default so that edoc archivelink can then be used properly.

  • Check all settings in the administration under Parameters.

  • Check the index properties.

  • Compile the scripts for the configuration: How do I compile the scripts for the configuration?

  • If you have used batch tasks and deleted them before the update, create the batch tasks again.

  • Export the configuration as a backup as part of your backup strategy. If necessary, you can import the export again after the update and in this way ensure that the configuration is restored: Export and import a selected edoc archivelink backup

  • Check the process chains by generating test data.
