By default, the bank account details are transferred to edoc invoice cockpit after the edoc invoice workflow has been completed.
However, you can actually use the vendor base data (master data) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations instead of the bank account details data from edoc invoice.
By activating the option Always apply bank details from vendor base data, you overwrite potentially existing bank account details data from edoc invoice with the base data (master data) from Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
Let's assume you want to use the vendor base data from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Here's how
-
In the navigation bar, click on edoc invoice cockpit > Setup > Bases > Parameters.
-
Open the section Invoice > Bank account.
-
Move the slider for Always apply bank details from vendor base data to Yes to always transfer the bank account data from the vendor base data.
The bank account are now taken from Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
If the option Always apply bank details from vendor base data is set to No, the bank account data are taken from edoc invoice.
