By default, edoc e-mail processing automatically processes all documents from the incoming folder of your mailbox. Successfully processed e-mails are collected in the SuccessProcessing e-mail folder. E-mails that could not be processed successfully are collected in the FailedProcessing e-mail folder.
However, you can also individually define which e-mail folders are to be used for processing by edoc e-mail processing to suit your requirements.
You can only use each e-mail folder once for a profile.
Preparation for alternative e-mail folders
You must first create the e-mail folders in the corresponding e-mail mailbox. The e-mail folders are synchronized with edoc e-mail processing at regular intervals. If you cannot yet find the alternative e-mail folders in the drop-down lists, save the corresponding profile or e-mail account under Connect accounts.
Let's say your team wants to manually review e-mails before they are processed. You therefore set up a special e-mail folder for e-mails as an incoming folder for processing. All e-mails that are to be processed by edoc e-mail processing are moved by the team to a separate incoming folder. The e-mails are processed by edoc e-mail processing in this incoming folder.
Here's how

Click on edoc e-mail processing in the sidebar to open the overview with the settings for e-mails.

Click on Profiles and then on Edit profile to define individual e-mail folders for a profile.

In the Details section, activate the Specify alternative folder for e-mail processing checkbox.

In the Alternative folder section, select a folder as the incoming folder for the e-mails to be processed.

Specify the corresponding e-mail folders for successfully and incorrectly processed e-mails under Outgoing folder for successfully processed e-mails and Outgoing folder for incorrectly processed e-mails.

Click on Save.
Your team can therefore decide for themselves that only the e-mails that meet the requirements should be processed directly.
Dealing with accidentally deleted folders
If you have accidentally deleted the incoming folder or the outgoing folder, you will find an error message at the latest 24 hours after the deletion under Settings > History.
