With this release, you can now archive attached documents and decide in the edoc archive service configuration for your ERP system which action should now be executed for attached documents for incoming documents.
In addition, the administration manual now includes an article about updating edoc archivelink in your Business Central system.

To use the new functions, you must install edoc archive service build no. 24.11.2 in your system environment.

ID 13651: Archive attached documents
You can now automatically archive external documents that are attached to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central record using the default function Attached documents using a new process type Archive attachments in edoc archive service.
ID 14630: Attachment for incoming documents should be optional
As an administrator, you can decide which action should be performed for the processes when configuring incoming documents. In edoc archive service, you can choose between the following actions for process types:

Only attach documents.

Write ERP properties to ECM properties.

Attach documents and write ERP properties to ECM properties.
