With this release, you can now upload multiple documents at the same time using drag & drop. We have also improved performance, and when archiving attached documents to a default Business Central record, the file name and file extension are now also saved in the edoc archivelink process table.
New functions and enhancements
ID 104241: Storing multiple external documents simultaneously using the edoc drop zone
The edoc drop zone has been enhanced so that several external documents can now be stored and processed simultaneously. This improves efficiency and makes it easier to process multiple documents in one step.
ID 14627: Replace "FlowField" fields in the process table with normal fields
The calculable fields in the edoc archivelink processes have been replaced by normal fields. Thus, the values are now available at all times without delay or additional calculation, which significantly improves the user experience and performance.
ID 15061: Improve user experience with "Archive attached documents"
When archiving the documents that you attach to a default record, the file name and file extension of the documents are now stored in the edoc archivelink process table.
