If you have already created processes with documents in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations at the time of introducing edoc D365 FO archivelink, you can also archive the processes retrospectively.
Your administrators can create so-called bulk jobs in the edoc D365 FO archivelink administration, which are run on a time-controlled basis. These jobs can be used to subsequently transfer the attachments of a process, reprint documents or re-index existing processes from Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
In this way, your administrators can also perform parts of data migrations between ECM systems.
The report layouts and index data do not change any audit-relevant data during the process. A document that has already been archived is never overwritten with a newer document layout.
