Report archiving in edoc archive service was designed to archive reports from business transactions in the ECM system and to index them based on the data from the business transactions in the ECM system.
After configuring a process type with the Archive generated reports action, all reports are archived in the ECM system from this point onwards.
The archiving process is used for reports to be printed or posted in the ERP table specified in the process type. The ERP report that is used in the ERP system for printing or posting must match the report that you have specified under Select report in the ERP system in the process type.
