If there is older data in the edoc archivelink cockpit that you no longer need for your overview, you can configure your own batch processing job.
You can use the following default settings to clean up the records in the cockpit:
-
Processing status Completed and Deactivated.
-
Processing type Get pending import documents.
-
Default interval for deletion: older than 180 days.
You can specify, add or remove additional fields and criteria for the records to be included at any time.
Suppose you want to remove all records from the cockpit that are older than 365 days, whose processing is completed, deactivated, and incorrect, and that belong to the processing type Get pending import documents.
Here's how
-
In the navigation bar, click on edoc archivelink > Periodic task > edoc Cockpit cleanup to configure the batch processing job.
-
Enter the number 365 in the Individual interval field in the Parameters section.
-
In the Records to include section, click on Filter to change the criteria for the processing status.
-
In the Processing status table, select the Error criterion in the Criteria column in addition to Completed, Deactivated.
-
Enter the following data in the Run in background section:
-
Activate the Batch processing function.
-
Enter the name edoc Cockpit cleanup in the Description of task field. This name clearly identifies the batch processing task as a cleanup task.
-
If required, enter the group that you have defined for the global batch under Batch group. If you have not defined your own group, select the Empty batch group entry.
-
Leave the Private and Critical job options deactivated.
-
Under Monitoring category, select the category that you have defined specifically for the cleanup task if required. If you have not defined your own category, select the entry Undefined.
-
Click on Repeat to define the start date, end date, time zone, and number of repetitions, for example.
-
-
Click OK to complete the configuration
The batch processing job is executed on the specified dates.
If you want to work with the default interval of 180 days, enter the number 0 in the Individual interval field in the Parameters section. Move the slider for Default interval to Yes.
