You can export the master data in edoc invoice at any time and import it into a selected destination system. The export function is only available for SQL databases.
The export function for master data from edoc invoice is helpful, for example, if you want to save the master data (e.g. backup).
Here's how
-
Click on edoc invoice in the sidebar to open the edoc invoice dashboard.
-
Click on Settings and select the relevant company under Company settings.
-
Click on Data > Export - Master data in the sidebar.
-
Click on New export in the ribbon.
-
Under Settings, specify the following:
-
Name: Enter a name for the export.
-
Connection type: Select the connection type that you have specified for the destination system under Connections > Connection details as SQL database.
-
-
Under Master data, select the master data you wish to export.
-
Select the Active checkbox to activate the export.
-
Under Connection, enter the name of the connection that you have specified for the destination system under Connections > Connection details.
-
Click on Save in the ribbon.
Then click on Synchronize tables in the ribbon to create the SQL table. Save the export details.
If you export master data to an existing table again, the existing tables are adapted and extended. The data remains unchanged.
