In some cases, it may be necessary to completely remove a workflow with the invoice, e.g. errors in content or form. The Cancel action in the ribbon of the capture form is used to remove the workflow. When the workflow is removed, the invoice is also removed.
If you work with the d.velop ECM system, the already saved invoice remains in your document management.
You will only see the Cancel action if you have the appropriate permission. Clarify in advance with your team leader or management under which circumstances the Cancel action is permitted and which persons or groups are allowed to perform the action.
Let's assume that an invoice has been rejected in a previous verification step for good reason. As a member of the Financial accounting group, you have permission to cancel the workflow for an invoice and therefore also to remove the invoice as a document.
Here's how
-
Click Cancel in the ribbon.
-
Under Confirmation required, enter a reason why the workflow and therefore also the invoice should be removed.
-
Click on Cancel now.
