Forward a task to another recipient

You can forward an invoice to another person or group at any time in a workflow step (task).

There can be many reasons for forwarding:

  • There are questions that another person can answer.

  • There is no information that you need to request.

  • You work with a group mailbox and distribute urgent tasks.

  • You lack individual permissions to process the invoice, e.g. you cannot approve the invoice due to the invoice amount.

Let's assume you cannot release an invoice because the invoice total exceeds a certain amount.

Here's how

  1. Open the invoice in the capture form.

  2. Click on Next recipient in the ribbon.

  3. In the Forward workflow dialog, select either a group (Mailbox) or an individual person (Clerk).

  4. Select an appropriate text suggestion under Subject.

  5. Click on Send.

The invoice will be forwarded to the corresponding address with the selected subject.

It is possible that standard recipients (individual person or group) have already been defined when forwarding. If you have any questions, please contact your administration.
