How do I copy a repository?

You can copy the complete settings for a repository with all document types, definitions for document fields and property assignments.

This function allows you to quickly create additional ECM systems or test systems based on the existing system.

Here's how

1. Go to edoc archivelink >Setup > Systems >Systems.

2. In the Repository section, select the repository that you want to copy.

3. Click on Copy to create another repository.

4. Enter a different repository ID under New repository ID.

5. If required, copy the indices (indexes) if you want to adopt the complete structure of the copied repository. The settings including the URL for the newly created repository ID are adopted.

You can now use the newly created repository.
