How do I establish a connection with a reverse proxy server?

You can establish a connection to a reverse proxy server via any content service. For this connection, you need the authentication data in the HTTP request header, for example, which is sent to the content service.

You have configured the system connection under edoc archivelink > Setup > Systems > Systems under System connection (URL).

Suppose you want to add the authentication data of the reverse proxy server to the connection data.

Here's how

  1. Go to edoc archivelink > Setup > Systems > Systems.

  2. Click on Content service extension in the menu to enter the values for the reverse proxy server.

  3. Enter the following data in the following columns:

    1. Key: Enter the HTTP request header of the reverse proxy server, e.g. a Bearer token.

    2. Value: Enter the corresponding value of the HTTP request header.

    3. System ID: Enter the system ID that you specified in the edoc archivelink connection configuration.

  4. Activate the keys.
