Batch: "Batch" refers to the service for all batch processing jobs that are executed in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations server infrastructure for the purpose of load balancing. This is a global batch.

Batch processing job: A batch processing job is executed separately on a single batch server and contains at least one batch processing task that is part of the job.

Batch processing task: A batch processing task refers to at least one task that is executed individually within a batch processing order. Each task can have individual execution times.
