If you have created and edited an exported JSON template file of the configuration of a company, you can use the JSON template to create a new company.
The exported configuration settings include the connections and connection types, queries and imports of master data, the exports for master data and transactional data, the settings for the workflow and the data capture form.
If you have already edited the JSON export template for the new company so that all company-specific settings are correct, you only need to import the JSON template and you can use the company immediately.
Here's how
-
Click on edoc invoice in the sidebar to open the edoc invoice dashboard.
-
Click on Settings and then on New company in the ribbon.
-
Click Import JSON template in the ribbon to import the locally saved JSON export template.
-
Under Create company from template, select the appropriate template in the Template field.
-
Under Settings, specify the following:
-
Short name: Enter the short name of the company. The short name serves as an ID and is displayed as the title on the overview page of all companies. The company short name is displayed, for example, in the master data import overview (Import - Master data) under Queries under Original company.
-
Full name: Enter the full name of the company. This name is displayed in the various forms and dialogs.
-
-
Click on Save in the ribbon.
In the overview under Settings, you will find the new company under Company settings.
