You can create as many companies as you like for your organization. Let's assume you want to create a completely new company.
Here's how

Click on edoc invoice in the sidebar to open the edoc invoice dashboard.

Click on Settings and then on New company in the ribbon.

Enter the following data under Create new company manually:

Short name: Enter the short name of the company. The short name serves as an ID and is displayed as the title on the overview page of all companies. The company short name is displayed, for example, in the master data import overview (Import - Master data) under Queries under Original company.

Full name: Enter the full name of the company. This name is displayed in the various forms and dialogs.

Accounting ID: Enter the ID that you have assigned to the company in accounting.

ERP system: Specify the ERP system for which you want to use edoc invoice.

Language: Select a language in which the invoice capture form should be displayed.

Currency profile: Enter the profile for the currency that applies to the company.

Decimal places: Enter the decimal places of the currency. Enter the number as a figure. Example: The number 2 stands for two decimal places.

Local currency: Specify the currency that the company uses by default. You can add the local currency after creating a company when importing from external data sources.

Calculate VAT amount: Activate this function to use the automatic calculation of the VAT amount of the respective invoice amount in the header data.

Click on Save in the ribbon.
After you have created the company, the company is displayed in edoc invoice in the edoc invoice overview under Settings > Company settings.
