The profile functions are available for tables in the ribbon. By default, the table displays extensive data in edoc workplace or in the financial monitor, for example.
You can filter, sort and group the table so that you have the optimum data view for each task to be completed.
If you frequently have to perform the same tasks at different times, you can save the respective data view of the table permanently as a profile and load it again at any time. On the one hand, this gives you flexibility, but on the other hand, you save time with a saved profile, especially with extensive data.
This allows you to save the optimally filtered, sorted and grouped table view:
-
Click on Save profile in the ribbon.
-
Under Mode, select whether you want to create a new profile or overwrite an existing profile. Select the New option to create a new profile.
-
Under Name, enter a name that has a high recognition value.
-
Add a short explanation under Description, which can help you later if you are working with many profiles.
-
Click on Save.
You can now edit the current table view and return to the profile at any time with Load profile. Select the relevant profile in the Load profiles dialog.
To overwrite an existing profile:
-
Click on Save profile in the ribbon.
-
Under Mode, select whether you want to create a new profile or overwrite an existing profile. Select the Overwrite option to replace an existing profile.
-
Under Profile, select the profile you wish to overwrite.
-
Change the name and description accordingly.
-
Click on Save.
You can change the view of the table at any time to suit your tasks. If you want to return to the standard view, click on Reset profile in the ribbon. The default view corresponds to the original state, so to speak.
