Temporarily defer an invoice

This function is only available in conjunction with edoc workplace.

There are situations in which you have to put an invoice on hold. Ordered goods may still be missing or there may be a need for clarification with a vendor.

You can specify a date for an invoice on which you can check this invoice again. In your task overview in the workplace, the scheduled invoices are displayed separately in the tabular overview. As soon as the date entered has been reached, the invoice is displayed in the table.

Let's assume you have already received an invoice with an incomplete delivery of goods. The invoice can be paid at a later date. You defer the invoice.

Here's how

  1. Open the invoice in the capture form.

  2. Click on Defer in the ribbon.

  3. Enter a date in the Defer invoice dialog.

  4. Click on Save.

The invoice will now only be displayed again in your task list in the workplace when the date has been reached.
