The d.velop documents workflow component d.3 mailbox will no longer be supported from 2026. Instead, you can use edoc workplace as a workflow component or integrate the workflows in d.ecs task (feature Tasks in d.velop documents). If you use the d.velop-specific workflow for your organization, first select the workflow component d.3 mailbox under Settings > Server settings.
With d.3 mailbox as a workflow component, you can define for a company under Settings > Workflow > Notifications whether the groups participating in the workflow receive a notification in their inbox. You can also define the text for the subject of the default notification for the workflow start.
If you enter a text under Default notification, the texts for the subject under Settings > Workflow > Subject for the individual tasks are overwritten. The suggestions are still retained. If you only select one group for the subject, all other groups will continue to receive the subjects that you have defined under Settings > Workflow > Subject.

Enter a text in the Default notification field. The text is displayed in the notification as the subject.

In the Notification column, activate the notification for a group with a click.

Click on Save in the ribbon to save the settings.
