You can export your system mappings to edoc archive service at any time. You can use the exported JSON file for documentation purposes, as a data backup, but also for importing into edoc archive service.
Here's how

Go to the edoc platform system environment and open the administration of edoc archive service in the browser.

Navigate to Map systems and process types > Export system mapping.

Select the system mapping whose configuration you want to export.
The system mappings and all process types and field mappings are now summarized and downloaded in a JSON file. Archiving processes are not exported as these are movable data and not part of the configuration.
Things to know
Secrets (e.g. client secret or user password) that you have entered for authentication in the ERP connection and in the ECM connection are not included in the export for security reasons.
You may have to enter the secrets when re-importing the configuration in the new system mapping.
