You can ignore previous versions of a process in edoc archive service so that the current process is processed.
The following conditions must be met before you can ignore the previous version of a process:

In the configuration of the process types, the Versioning slider must be activated for the process type of the relevant process.

A newer version of the process to be ignored must already exist.

The process to be ignored has the status Error, Open in ERP system or Failed in ERP system.

The current process has the status Released.
Here's how

Go to the edoc platform system environment and open the administration of edoc archive service in the browser.

Navigate to Show cockpit.

Click on the icon with the eye in the line of the current archiving process whose previous version is to be ignored.

Click on Ignore previous version of this process.
The previous version of the current process is now ignored and the current process is processed instead.
