How do I edit a system mapping?

You can change your system mapping at any time.

Before you start

If you change the ERP connection for a system mapping that is already in use, the system mapping with the previous ERP connection is automatically deactivated in the ERP system.

However, you can change the name and description at any time without deactivating the system mapping in the ERP system.

Here's how

  1. Go to the edoc platform system environment and open the administration of edoc archive service in the browser.

  2. Navigate to Map systems and process types > Edit system mapping.

  3. Change the data.

  4. Click on Save.

  5. Be sure to check the process types and field mappings of the system mapping if you have changed the ERP connection and/or ECM connection.

  6. If needed, make adjustments and transfer the configuration to the ERP system.
