System requirements for edoc contract

We provide you with our apps and services in several Linux-based containers. The interaction and operation of these containers is ensured by a single-node Kubernetes cluster.

Operating system and virtual machine for edoc platform (on-premises)

  • Ubuntu Server version 24.04 LTS (Long-Term-Support) with current service pack.

  • Virtual computer (virtual machine, VM).

Minimum requirement for the memory configuration and number of processor cores

  • CPU: at least 4 processor cores.

  • Memory: at least 12 GB RAM.

  • Hard disk space: at least 150 GB.

Required edoc applications

The following applications are required on the server to run edoc contract:

  • edoc automate: at least Build 25.2.3.

  • edoc content services: at least Build 24.1.35.1.

Supported e-mail applications for desktop apps only

The following desktop apps from various software manufacturers are supported:

  • MacOS Sonoma:

    • Apple Mail

  • Windows 10:

    • Microsoft Outlook (Version 2412)

  • Browser-based for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (desktop only):

    • Outlook

    • Apple Mail

    • Gmail

Recommended browsers

  • Google Chrome (desktop)

  • Microsoft Edge (desktop, Chromium)

Our software tests are generally performed with current browser versions. We cannot guarantee full functionality for browser versions that were not yet available at the time of the software release.

It is generally recommended to always use the latest browser versions.

Possible connections to d.velop documents (on-premises)

You can use the following server applications as a d.velop system environment:

  • d.velop documents: current version or annual version.

  • d.velop infrastructure components (d.ecs infrastructure): suitable for the d.velop documents version Current version or Annual version.

You can use the following client software:

  • d.3one Current version: suitable for the d.velop documents server version.

Internet access

When installing and updating edoc contract, you must establish a connection to https://github.com. Third-party components are downloaded from Github.
