d.cold: Processes are error-free, but do not process files

Summary

Important requirements

• Administrative permissions for d.3 server and d.3 service server.

• Access to d.3 process manager.

• The d.cold service process is the leading process and must always be started before the d.cold worker process.

Solution

Enter a start delay for each process in d.3 process manager.

Here's how

1. Open d.3 process manager (http://localhost:3480) on the d.3 server.

2. Stop the d.cold service and d.cold worker processes.

3. Open the d.cold service process.

4. Adjust the time delay for starting under Start delay from 0.00 seconds to e.g. 10.00 seconds.

5. Save the change.

6. Open the d.cold worker process.

7. Adjust the time delay for starting under Start delay from 0.00 seconds to e.g. 20.00 seconds.

8. Restart the d.cold service and d.cold worker processes.

Repeat steps 6 - 8 for each d.cold worker process in d.3 process manager.
