Summary
You want to add an app to your website in Microsoft SharePoint Online. However, the addition fails and the following error message is displayed: "Check your network connection."
The error message occurs because an outdated version of the corresponding app is being used in at least one place in your website collection.

You may need to use the classic interface to delete the app.
Solution
The app may not be used on any website of the affected site. You must delete the app completely.
Here's how

Check the website collection and all sub-websites to see if an outdated version of the app exists.

Delete the outdated app in the website collection and all sub-websites.

Finally, be sure to delete the app from the recycle bin and the final recycle bin.

Then install the new app in the website collection and the sub-websites.
