Copy and paste components in a view

You can copy a component and paste it into any view.

Things to know

You can paste any copied component into any other view.

Here's how

  1. In the editor, point to the component you want to copy to display the context functions.

  2. Click on the icon for copying (two pages). After copying, an icon for pasting (clipboard) is displayed in the context functions of the components and next to the context action element for adding (Add) views.

  3. Point the mouse at the insert icon to select one of the following options:

    1. Paste [before|after] (new Id): This option generates a new random name for the component when it is pasted.

    2. Paste [before|after] (numbered Id): With this option, a new name is created when the component is inserted, which is supplemented with an underscore followed by a number. Example: <Name>_1, <Name>_2, <Name>_3

  4. Select the corresponding option. The new component is inserted and activated.

  5. Save the changes with Save.
