Integrate an edoc automate app into third-party software

You can use the edoc automate integrations to integrate apps into third-party apps. You can use the existing integrations, for example, to integrate your apps into other applications or to transfer information to other applications.

You can view the status of the configured integration at any time in the Integrations section in the App-Details. To display the status, click on the icon in the Status column. There are the following three statuses: Ok, Warning, Error

If you would like to use the edoc automate integrations, please get in touch with your edoc contact person.

The following edoc automate integrations are available to you:

  • Workplace App Drawer

  • d.velop d.ecs home app

  • d.velop dms app

  • d.velop inbound app

With the Workplace App Drawer integration, you can define additional entries in the edoc workplace app menu (9-dot menu).

Enter the following data:

  • Group: Specify the group for menu items. You cannot use the apps group as this group already exists as a menu item.

  • Title: Enter a meaningful title for the link in the menu.

  • Link: Enter the link to the linked app that should be opened when you click on the menu item.

  • Icon: Enter the URL to an icon that is displayed on the menu item.

"d.velop d.ecs home app" as integration for the start page of d.velop documents (home app)

With the d.velop d.ecs home app integration you can define additional entries on the start page of d.3one or d.velop documents.

Enter the following data:

  • Title: Enter a meaningful title for the tile on the start page.

  • Subtitle: Enter a short description of the function that is displayed on the tile.

  • Icon: Enter the URL to an icon that is displayed on the menu item.

  • Summary: Enter a summary of the scope of functions, which is then displayed on the tile.

  • Description: Enter a meaningful and comprehensive description of the function scope, which is then displayed on the tile.

  • Color: Enter the color code for the tile in hexadecimal format (e.g.: #050505).

  • Link: Enter the link to the linked app that should be opened when you click on the menu item.

"d.velop dms app" as integration for the document display and document search of d.velop documents (DMS app)

With the d.velop dms app integration you can define context actions in the result list view and in the detailed view of documents in d.velop documents.

Enter the following data:

  • ID: Enter a unique identifier for the integration.

  • Context: Specify the type of context action to be provided.

  • UriTemplate: Enter the link to the linked app that is to be opened when the context action is clicked. You can use placeholders, e.g. for the ECM ID.

  • IconUri: Specify the URL to an icon that is displayed on the context action.

  • ActivationConditions: Enter conditions for the display of the context action. The titles must be defined in a JSON structure. For more information see the corresponding API documentation from d.velop.

  • Captions: Enter a meaningful title for the context action. The title must be defined in a JSON structure. For more information see the corresponding API documentation from d.velop.

"d.velop inbound app" as integration for the extension of the "inbound" component of d.velop documents (inbound scan)

With the d.velop inbound app integration you can define extensions such as output systems in d.velop inbound scan of d.velop documents.

Enter the following data:

  • ID: Enter a unique identifier for the integration.

  • Context: Specify the type of extension to be provided.

  • UriTemplate: Enter the link to the linked app that is to be called up. You can use placeholders, e.g. for the ECM ID.

  • ActivationConditions: Enter conditions for the display and execution of the extension. The title must be defined in a JSON structure. For more information see the corresponding API documentation from d.velop.

  • Caption: Enter a meaningful title for the extension.
