You can read and write components in some actions. For the corresponding actions, you can select a component as a parameter or as a return field.
Things to know
You can change the selected component at any time by restarting the selection process described and overwriting the current component or deleting the selected component first.
Let's assume you are currently editing an action in the Edit Action dialog and would now like to link a component in the action as a parameter.
Here's how

In the Edit Action dialog, click on the icon under Parameters to link a component.

Select the component in the view so that the component is highlighted in color.

Click on the highlighted component to open the Edit Action dialog. The name of the selected components is displayed under Parameters.

Click on Apply to apply the new action as a parameter.
To save the changes in the app permanently, please also save the app.
