You can assign an already created view to each step in a workflow. This view is displayed to a user as soon as he or she opens an assigned task in edoc workplace.
Things to know
-
You can only link views to one Task element.
-
Each Task element has the default properties User, Group, Subject, and View. You can also specify workflow variables for User, Group, and Subject instead of a fixed value in order to make the workflow more flexible. The workflow variables for the current workflow can be found in the detail area under Properties as soon as you click on the editing area (canvas).
-
For views that are used in the flow, you must define an individual route for calling up the view.
Here's how
-
Open the flow to be edited.
-
Select the corresponding step (Task element) in the workflow. The properties of the selected step are displayed in the detail area: User, Group, Subject, and View.
-
Replace the specific user of the task in the User field in the details area. Additionally or alternatively, you can enter a group as the recipient in the Group field. You can also enter a variable from the workflow in each field by clicking on the icon to select it.
-
Specify the subject in the Subject field. The subject is displayed in edoc workplace.
-
Click on the View icon in the detail area to select a view.
-
Under Select View, select the view and the route of the view.
-
Click on Done to set the selected view for the step.
-
Use Save to save the workflow diagram of the flow to apply the adjustments to the flow.
